Ancient Indian civilizations used diamonds as a major religious item over 6000 years ago; however, pink diamonds were not as popular among such early peoples. Further discoveries in the last three centuries have revealed colored diamonds in pink, red, teal, black, and other variants. Scientific findings also make enhanced pink diamonds easy to get in different shades. Several hues of pink diamond crystals have become popular ever since the first enhanced gemstones became available over three decades ago.
