Patna University Directorate of Distance Education (PU DDE) is a Private University in Patna, Bihar which was established in the year 1974. It is one of the oldest Universities in Bihar, India. The main aim of establishment of the university is to provide higher education to all the aspiring students via correspondence and distance mode who are unable to join regular college due to any personal reason.
