Acharya Nagarjuna University was founded in 1976 with the central campus situated between Vijayawada and Guntur on the Chennai Kolkata National Highway. The NAAC accredits Acharya Nagarjuna University at 'A' grade. UGC founded it and was recognised by the association of Indian and Commonwealth University.
