10 to 12 Sardine Fish, 1 bowl of grated wet coconut, 15 dry red chillies, 1 medium sized onion, 5 to 6 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of coriander, tamarind, 6 to 7 Tirphal (Szechuan Pepper Cut and clean the Sardine Fish. Keep the cut fish with salt for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, wash the fish thoroughly with water. Now let us prepare to make the Motala (parcel), For that we are going to use banana leaves and turmeric leaves. Along with that we are also going to use 5 to 6 large wild leaves. Wash both types of leaves thoroughly. To make the coconut paste, finely grind the grated wet coconut, red chillies, onion, garlic, coriander, 6 to 7 Tirphal (Szechuan Pepper, tamarind and coriander in a mixer. Take 2 banana leaves and place turmeric leaves vertically and horizontally on it. Now mix the washed fish and the prepared paste well. Add salt to taste. Place all the fish neatly on the turmeric leaf. Fold the turmeric leaves into a square shape to make the motala(parcel). Then fold the banana leaves into a square shape. Tie with a thread to secure it. Wrap large leaves over the banana leaves to prevent them from burning quickly. Now place the prepared motla (parcel) on the coals. And cook for 10 minutes.
