Wines, Christmas And Seafood Feast

Christmas for the Smiths means a wonderful mix of Christmas celebrations with wine and seafood. Seafood choices were easy, while the wines took some thought. As Sam and Martha discussed their menu, they realized they had lobster, crab and shrimp. But, they also had richer dishes with salmon and catfish. "We need two wines!" Sam exclaimed. Martha suggested a Merlot with its bolder profile for the richer dishes. Sam agreed. He thought that Pinot Noir would enhance the shellfish options.
