There is nothing more frustrating that when a silly injury stops you from working as hard as you want to. The knee joint is a prime candidate when it comes to a joint that can really hold you back. The knee is used for most movements, on top of just walking day to day. A sore knee can really hold you back. Using a knee sleeve can help warm the joint and support the muscles and tendons of the joint, allowing for a more pleasant and 'happy' knee. The only problem is they are a pain to put on and take off.Until now!After several years of intense fitness, my right knee started to ache. The normal approach of physio, anti-inflammatories and rest only helped short term. Naturally, l turned to wearing knee sleeves. It helped to stop the pain returning.The only problem was that l had to put them on well before the workout, by removing my shoes, fold them down around my ankles, go to the gym, pull them up, do the workout, then remove my shoes to take the sleeves off.As someone who overheats and sweats a lot, this didn't help my attitude as it added to my temperature. If l waited and put them on just before the workout, l would forget and then it was too late, no time......there HAD to be a better way.As there was no product on the market, l created one. Using my contacts in the custom clothing industry, we developed a velcro knee sleeve that simply wraps around at the ankle and pulls up into place. We tested them with athletes of all different sizes and skill levels. The velcro will hold during ANY lift.We are a family business, based in Sydney North West. We love our Crossfit and do our best to stay fit and healthy.
