Leadership Initiatives

Leadership Initiatives runs immersive, in-person programs designed to help high school students explore future careers through hands-on projects with professionals and partner organizations. A typical schedule blends interactive workshops, mentorship meetings, and team assignments that move from research and planning to deliverables and reflection. In law and justice tracks, students may analyze case materials and practice argument structure; in medical and public health options, they review patient scenarios and discuss diagnostics or outreach strategies; in AI, business, cybersecurity, and international leadership, they work on problem statements tied to real organizational needs. Throughout, participants practice collaboration, time management, and presentation skills. Staff support includes essay assistance, letters of recommendation, scholarship guidance, and personalized student websites to showcase outcomes and growth.
