Montana: Claim Stakes At The Fork And A Cracked Sword

Someone has hammered claim stakes into the sandbar where the river splits, and the singing blade Wren carries has developed a crack. The water spirits fall silent. So the marshal, the scholar and the quiet rider settle in to watch and wait for the stake-planters to return. Episode six of Boundwater is quiet, tense frontier fantasy.
